Antonius Choir
Rehearsals are held every Monday from 8:00 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. at the Niels-Stensen-Haus, Kirchstraße 14 in Papenburg. The contact person is Ralf Stiewe, r.stiewe@bistum-os.de.
Sing 'n' Swing
Rehearsals are held every Wednesday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the oratory of St. Josef Parish, Grader Weg 66, Papenburg. The contact person is Ralf Stiewe, r.stiewe@bistum-os.de.
Children's Choir
The children's choir was founded by Regional Cantor Ralf Stiewe in 2016 and invites children in grades 2 through 5 to join in the singing. The children's choir typically participates in the family service at St. Antonius once a month.
Rehearsals are always held on Mondays from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. at the Niels-Stensen-Haus, Kirchstraße 14 in Papenburg. The contact person is Ralf Stiewe, r.stiewe@bistum-os.de.
Vocal cord
Under the direction of Alexandra Stach, this choir is dedicated to performing new sacred songs in unison with guitar accompaniment.
Rehearsals are held approximately once a month, by arrangement, on Wednesdays at 7:45 p.m. at the Niels-Stensen-Haus, Kirchstraße 14, in Papenburg. The contact person is Alexandra Stach, alexandra.stach@gymnasium-papenburg.de.
St. Josef Open Choir
In the fall of 1997, the idea for the Offene Schola was born. Once a month, usually on Sunday mornings, the group supports congregational singing during Mass. They sing along with the congregation and rehearse new songs with them.
Anyone who’s interested is welcome to come half an hour before the service begins for a short rehearsal and sing along. There are no separate rehearsal times.
